Since 1973 the King of Sweden is Karl XVI Gustaf of the Bernadotte Dynasty.

The King has no formal power. He and the Queen, and now even the Crown Princess are representing our country in many diffrent ways all over the world. They have their working place at the Royal Palace in Stockholm but live at Drottningholm Palace. They spend the summer at Solliden Palace on the Island of Öland.
